How to use
Wind up just until the angled tip clears the rim. That's plenty for both lips, and it's the amount the stick is built to support.
Apply straight from the bullet in short strokes, and reapply as often as you like through the day.
Wind it back down after each use and replace the cap. This balm is rich in oils and shea butter rather than hard wax, so it's softer than a lipstick - a long extended tip has very little supporting it and can catch against the cap or break off.
If it's been somewhere warm, wind out even less until it has firmed up again.

Being oil-rich also means it softens in real heat. A car in the sun, a windowsill or a bag left out on a hot day will all soften it.
Keep it somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight, and store it upright with the cap on. If it does soften and reset, the surface can look uneven or the colour can sit differently - that's the balm cooling, not a fault, and it applies the same way.

This is a silky long lasting balm. If you don’t eat and drink lots one application will get you through the day. I find two applications a day gives me that all day hydration. It’s not sticky, over perfumed or a strong colour it’s natural. This is a winter must have for everyday application.
